A well-known and well-liked Slovakian dance and pop vocalist, Dara Rolins (real name: Darina Rolincová, aka Darinka Rolincová) was born in Bratislava on December 7, 1972. A 1982 winner of the Golden Nightingale poll, Dara released her first maxi-CD single, "Our Lovin'," in 1996, which was quickly followed by the full-length Dream of Love, and Rolins then began to build up a fan base in both Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
