Contemporary R&B artist Dave Hollister, a veteran vocalist whose style is firmly rooted in gospel and soul tradition, established his career well before his membership in Teddy Riley's Blackstreet. In 1989, the Chicago native was the featured lead vocalist on Blakk Society's "Just Another Lonely Day," one of Larry Heard's sorrowful yet cleansing house productions.
