A professor of the contemporary music department at the College of Santa Fe, David Dunn has created a new view of the environmental world through his music. His compositions blend the distinctions between music, language, and nature, incorporating recordings of insects, beetles, lions, elephants, African congregations, and Japan's Yakushima Forest. Many of his recordings have been used for museum sound installations.
