British organist David Goode studied music at Eton College, and from 1991 to 1994 was an organ scholar at King's College, Cambridge, where he was a student of David Sanger. He also worked with Jacques van Oortmerssen in Amsterdam. Goode was a prize-winner at the St. Alban's Competition in 1997 and the Calgary Competition in 1998. He served as the sub-organist at Christ Church, Oxford from 1996 to 2001, and from 2003 to 2005 he was the organist-in-residence of the First Congregational Church in Los Angeles.
