David Rogers

b. 27 March 1936, Atlanta, Georgia, USA, d. 10 August 1993, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. From 1952 (military service excepted), his ambition to entertain saw him playing local venues, including almost six years at the Egyptian Ballroom until 1967, when he joined the Wheeling Jamboree on WWVA. Rogers made his US country chart debut on Columbia in 1968 with ‘I'd Be Your Fool Again' and soon moved to Nashville.
