David Wingo

David Wingo is a film composer and rock musician based in Austin, Texas. He is best known for scoring a number of director David Gordon Green's films as well as Jeff Nichols' 2011 Cannes winner Take Shelter. His collaboration with childhood friend Green began in the late 90's when he would provide music for some of Green's student films. His career as a composer was effectively launched when he scored Green's critically acclaimed 2000 debut George Washington.
