Daze

In the wake of Aqua's unexpected stateside success in 1997, several new Europop groups received a big push from major labels. One of these was the Denmark-based Daze. Led by songwriters/keyboardists Sieber and J.T. and featuring vocalist Trine Bix, the group's first single, "Superhero," became a huge Scandinavian hit upon its release in the fall of 1997, and its accompanying album, Super Heroes, reached number one in Denmark and number three in Scandinavia.
