The brainchild of Mancunian Dave Shaw and Parisian Dombrance, DBFC first hit the underground with the release of their 2014 debut EP, Leave My Room. Released on Her Majesty's Ship -- which was also home to Shaw's solo house and new wave project Dave Shaw and the Beat -- the EP saw the pair drawing influence from the underground French club scene as well as the British shoegaze scene.
