Gifted singer and pianist Debbie Andrews was born and raised in Detroit in the middle of the turbulent '60s. When she was around seven years old, she began her study of classical piano. Her love for music and her skills increased over the years. A young Andrews impressed others enough with her talents that she earned a notable Jazz Fellowship Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
