South London rapper Deema brings personality and wit to his own melodic take on U.K. grime. He got his start as an minor player in Lewisham rap collective The Square, and soon graduated from his role as a hype man to releasing tracks of his own. In 2024, Deema released his most fully-realized project to date, the ten-song, album-length effort DOG WITH A £. Deema was only 16 when he first joined forces with The Square, serving as a hype man for rapper Elf Kid as early as 2016.
