Dennis McCarthy is an American film and television composer best known for his work with the Star Trek franchise. He won an Emmy in 2003 for his main title theme for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
McCarthy began to accumulate television credits as early as the late '60s, working as an arranger and music director for TV specials and variety shows such as The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour and Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters.
