A titan of the Punjabi film and music industries, Indian actor and vocalist Diljit Dosanjh emerged in the early 2000s with successful albums like Smile (2005) and The Next Level (2009) before breaking into both Punjabi and Hindi cinema through the 2010s. His versatile vocal and acting chops saw him appear in some of the highest-grossing films in Punjabi history (Jatt & Juliet 3, Honsla Rakh), alongside landing hit after hit through his solo career ("Born to Shine," "G.O.A.T," "Lover") and soundtrack work ("Lak 28 Kudi Da," "Ishq Di Baajiyaan," "Naina.")
