Distractor

A lively synth punk combo whose songs range from lo-fi camp to post-punk cool, Distractor formed in Orange County, California in 2015. Friends Glen Christensen and Will Sipos conceived the band in their Costa Mesa garage, making low-budget D.I.Y. videos and recording the fun, catchy tunes that would make up their self-released debut, Devotion. After a summer of playing local shows and recording a follow-up album, Christensen was diagnosed with cancer and passed away in October of that year at the age of 25.
