A project of Japanese DJ and producer Yoshiwa "Unless" Maeda, Dol Lop crafted a computer-age mix of hip-hop, dub, techno, jazz, Eastern classical music and ambient breakbeat. Since releasing a single and CD, "Cryptic Audio", under the Dol Lop name, in 1997, however, Maeda has focused his attention on other projects including producing several tracks for Japanese art-pop vocalist Nona Reeves.
