Dominique Fils-Aimé is a multi-JUNO Award-winning Montreal-based singer and composer. Her smoky alto instrument is but one expression in a multi-octave range from contralto to soprano. Her first three albums were a trilogy focused on the history of Black North American culture that influenced the development of blues, jazz, R&B, and soul in North America.
