Donald Kachamba

Donald Kachamba has been attracting attention with his musical virtuosity since his early teens when he was called "the Malawian Mozart". Together with his brother, Daniel (1947--1987), he brought the urban dance music of southern Africa to the global stage as the Kachamba Brothers. Since his brother's death, Kachamba has continued to thrill audiences with his mixture of kwela, sinjonjo, saba-saba, huayani and simanje-manje.
