European house group Double You? first came to prominence in the early 90s, largely through the public disagreements between their label, ZYX Records, and Network Records. Network had made overtures to obtain the license for Double You?'s version of KC And The Sunshine Band's ‘Please Don't Go', but their approaches were rejected.
