Dr. Motte

Dr. Motte (aka Matthias Roeingh) began DJing in 1985, and (inspired by Marshall Jefferson), moved to house music two years later. In 1989, he founded Berlin's Love Parade; though the first year included only 150 people, 1995's edition brought in 250,000. By 1991, Dr. Motte had opened his own 6am Eternal club, also. The following year, he began recording with Uwe Reineke on the duo's own Space Teddy label. The same year, he released the Chill Out Planet Earth album as Euphorhythm.
