Biography
Drakulas are an Austin-based band who combine proto-punk, new wave, and garage with a noir-ish, occult-leaning image befitting their namesake. Featuring members of Riverboat Gamblers and Rise Against, they debuted in 2016 with the jagged Raw Wave, then signed with Dine Alone for 2020's Terminal Amusements. A six-year gap preceded Drakulas' third album, Midnight City, which appeared in 2026.
Formed in 2015, singer Mike Wiebe and bassist Rob Marchant (both of Riverboat Gamblers) teamed up with Rise Against guitarist Zach Blair to record the band's Drakulas' debut EP, OWOWOWOWOW...
