California's DSTRCT raps with hunger and determination. 2022's "O.T.," the first single from his debut EP, Installation001, details his drive for fame and success. DSTRCT grew up mainly listening to rock music, and started recording songs on a laptop before becoming enamored with hip-hop when he was in high school. After leaving college, he began rapping full-time, and his music reached the ears of noted producer Mustard, who signed DSTRCT to 10 Summers Records. His debut single, "O.T.," was released in November 2022, preceding the EP Installation001. ~ Paul Simpson
