Biography
The London-based singer Ed Thomas first came to prominence following his 2013 collaborations with Bondax ("Giving It All") and Chase & Status ("Blk & Blu"). Having previously worked with dubstep acts such as Submotion Orchestra, Author, and Planas in 2011 and 2012, the silky vocal skills of Thomas were reminiscent of his peers such as John Newman and Sam Smith. Drawing inspiration from '80s funk and R&B as well as pop and the softer fringes of house music, he released his debut EP Outlaws in early 2014 and the single "On My Own" shortly afterward. ~ Aneet Nijjar
