Chilean singer and songwriter Eduardo Gatti was born in 1949. Inspired by music icons such as Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, and Violeta Parra, Gatti took guitar lessons soon forming a band called the Clouds and later a new act named Apparition recording a "When a Man Loves a Woman" cover, released by RCA as a single. After travelling all over Europe, Eduardo Gatti returned to Chile joining a band called los Blops, playing along with Juan Contreras, Sergio Bezara, Julio Villalobos, and Juan Pablo Orrego.
