El Chalinillo

El Chalinillo is a popular banda singer from Sinaloa who signed with Univision regional Mexican subsidiary Disa Records after years of success in his homeland on smaller labels such as Pueblos Unidos. Born Ambrosio Cano in Jacola, Sinaloa, he began singing professionally as a teenager and adopted the name El Chalinillo in homage to Chalino Sánchez, one of his musical heroes.
