El Cherry Scom is a Dominican dembow rapper and singer. Born Ramón Antonio Reyes in Santo Domingo in 1991, he grew up in a humble neighborhood, dreaming of the flashy lifestyle of reggaeton stars such as Don Omar, Tego Calderón, and Wisin & Yandel. By the late 2010s the aspiring singer had managed to attract the attention of several producers, which in turn enabled him to release his first singles, and gradually build a respectable online following.
