Biography
Not to be confused with the other '60s psych-pop band David (which featured the vocals and songwriting of Warren Hansen), this nearly-as-mysterious group leaned more toward the Jefferson Airplane/United States of America sound, thanks to singer Deborah Kelly's dreamy, dramatic voice. Much like the other band, however, this David released just one album -- 1969's self-titled debut -- before disappearing. In 2001, David was reissued by Gear Fab Records. ~ Heather Phares
