Marinero (aka singer-songwriter Jess Sylvester) began life as a woozy bedroom indie band with Latin influences, and has since grown into something much more musically involved with a sound that pays homage to influences as wide as Broadcast, Carole King, Los Pasteles Verdes, and Ennio Morricone.
