Elevations

A Detroit-area band who bridge the gap between the city's history as the home of upbeat soul and current identity as a center for down-and-dirty garage rock, the Elevations are an eight-piece R&B revue who blend old-school sounds with the sass and enthusiasm of rock. Founded by guitarist and sax player Ben Mancell, the Elevations were formed in 2002 with the express intent of adding a more soulful and danceable flavor to the Detroit rock scene.
