Singer/songwriter and former Cobra Starship keytarist Elisa Jordana grew up as Elisa Schwartz in Old Bridge, New Jersey, listening to New Kids on the Block and Whitney Houston, but it was Debbie Gibson who inspired her to write her own songs.
