A Seattle-based singer/songwriter specializing in moody, nocturnal, synth-based R&B, EMI made her debut in early 2016 with the Rex Kudo and Sevn Thomas-produced single "Phantom." Racking up over 20,000 SoundCloud streams in its first two days, the song put EMI on the map, yielding subsequent collaborations with both Kudo and Thomas, as well as producers like Charlie Handsome, Bobby Raps, and Axlfolie.
