Ensemble Pearl is a collective featuring Stephen O'Malley (Sunn 0)))), Atsuo (Boris), Michio Kurihara (Ghost), and William Herzog (Jesse Sykes & the Sweet Hereafter and Citizen's Utilities). Rather than the post-rock, 21st century psych and doom metal genres group members are associated with individually, Ensemble Pearl's sound is closer in aesthetic to post-Hex Earth's, but not strictly.
