Biography

Eugenia Zuckerman is one of the world's best-known flutists, known for her particular interest in innovative ways of bringing classical music to new audiences and in musical education. She is also an author of novels and nonfiction books. She was born Eugenia Rich in the Boston suburb that is the home of Harvard University. A flute student since childhood, she began her higher education as an English major at Barnard College.
