Exploding Mushroom

An obscure mid-1960s Denmark-based band, the Exploding Mushroom featured members from the UK, US, and Denmark. The most renowned of them was bassist Mac MacLeod, who played with Donovan occasionally in the 1960s, and made some other obscure recordings, both solo and as part of psychedelic bands. The Exploding Mushroom issued one rare single, "There Will Come a Day"/"Give Back What You Stole (From Me)," that mixed Bob Dylanesque folk-rock with embryonic organ psychedelia influences.
