Biography
California psych-rock outfit Feeding People were formed in 2010 by Orange County singer/songwriter/natural frontwoman Jessie Jones, whose alternately sensual and explosive vocals fall somewhere between Lana Del Ray and Grace Slick. Employing a sound that drew from the apocalyptic wailing of the 13th Floor Elevators, the moody atmospherics of Esben and the Witch, and the progressive noise rock of Crystal Antlers, the band released an eponymous debut album on vinyl through Burger Records in 2011.
