American-born soprano Felicia Weathers is a native of St. Louis, MO. Weathers studied voice at the University of Indiana at Bloomington with Charles Kullman, but continued her course of study in Europe; she made her debut in Kiel in 1961. Weathers began in 1963 an association with the Hamburg State Opera that lasted until 1970, and the majority of her career was centered in Germany; Weathers recorded for the German branch of Decca.
