First Rate People

Conceived as a genre-hopping indie/hip-hop/electronica project in the vein of the Go-Team and the Avalanches, Michael Siegrist (Avant-Harde) and Jonathan Lawless (Jonny Handshake & the Agreements) put together First Rate People almost immediately out of high school. The duo progressed quickly and evolved into more of a collective than a band, which included over 30 other young musicians on the Ontario music scene.
