Flemming Bamse Jørgensen & Etta Cameron

One of Denmark's best known and longest running singers, Flemming J++rgensen (he earned the nickname Bamse as the leader of the band Bamses Venner, another long running tradition in Danish pop and rock) was born in 1947 in Northampton. With the Bamses Venner, which was founded in 1973, J++rgensen became a household name in his native country, and in 1980 finished 14th at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Taenker Altid Pa Dig" (or "Always Thinking of You," in English).
