Flor Silvestre

The daughter of an amateur singer, Flor Silvestre (born Guillermina Jiménez) was captivated by popular music at a very young age. In Mexico City she had her first opportunity to perform live and adopted the nickname of Flor Silvestre soon after. Winning first place in a new talent contest gave her the chance to start touring Mexico and Central and South America.
