Much more than a mere twig on the Versus family tree, Flower was a revered New York-based indie rock band formed by Richard Baluyut, younger brother Ed Baluyut, Ian James, and Andrew Bordwin in the late '80s. While together, they released an EP and only two albums, 1988's Concrete and 1990's Hologram Sky -- each of their releases were through the Bear label, but Hologram Sky was issued in Germany only.
