A Christian metalcore band from Sioux City, Iowa, For Today released their first album, Ekklesia, in 2008. Signed to Facedown Records, For Today -- formed in 2005 and made up of Mattie Montgomery (vocals), Ryan Leitru (guitar), Mike Reynolds (guitar), Brandon Leitru (bass), and David Morrison (drums) -- spent the lion's share of their first couple of years together paying their dues on the live circuit.
