Much like their bandleader Andy Shauf's solo material, Foxwarren's gentle, folk- and psychedelia-shaded indie rock dwells in reflection and daydreams. After playing together on and off for ten years, the band's eponymous debut saw release in 2018. The follow-up, 2025's 2, found them taking a similar songwriting approach but experimenting on the production side with the conspicuous use of samplers.
