Francesco Cilea

Composer and music professor Cilea's most famous opera is the durable Adriana LeCouvreur. He also composed chamber music and songs. Cilea studied piano and composition at the Naples Conservatory, then went on to a distinguished career teaching and finally heading up several music conservatories in Italy and Sicily. ~ All Music Guide
