Francesco d'Orazio is an Italian violinist and violist, who took up both instruments early in childhood. Studying at first with his father, then with Carlo Chiarappa and Cristiano Rossi, he was later a pupil of Denes Zsigmondy while attending the Salzburg Mozarteum, and he studied with Yair Kless at the Rubin Academy in Tel Aviv. He received his degree from the University of Bari. He has performed in Europe, China, Japan, the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Argentina, with numerous orchestras.
