Spanish singer/songwriter Sarria Francisco González was born in Alicante in 1959. Displaying musical talent at a young age, he began performing in front of live audiences when he was in his teens. He then started to get noticed at local festivals and talent shows. The young singer managed to attract the attention of Camilo Sesto, who produced his 1981 debut album. In the same year he achieved fame thanks to his win in the OTI Song Festival with "Latino."
