Pianist François-Frédéric Guy has specialized in the music of Beethoven but also has a strong commitment to contemporary music, giving the premieres of several new works. He has appeared as a concerto soloist or recitalist in many of Europe's major concert halls.
Guy was born in Vernon, in Normandy, on January 23, 1969. Guy's father was an amateur pianist, and the young Guy began to imitate him and made unexpectedly rapid progress.
