One of the most raucous rockers of the pre-British Invasion era, Freddy Cannon -- sometime billed as Freddy "Boom Boom" Cannon -- was a wild rock & roll shouter whose hits were loaded with manic energy and booming drums as he sounded a clarion call for dancing and other varieties of teenage fun.
