Freyr

Freyr is a Swedish-Icelandic singer/songwriter who emerged in 2018 with an accessible Scandinavian indie-folk style that favors both melody and melancholy. Born in Sweden, Freyr spent his formative years immersing himself in jazz, classical, folk, heavy metal, pop, and indie rock, splitting his time between his Swedish homeland with his Olympian father and medical researcher mother, and the wilds of Iceland with his grandfather.
