Friday Bridge are a Swedish indie pop duo whose elegant, synth and harpsichord-laden tunes, heavily influenced by acts like Kate Bush and Altered Images, nod to likeminded Scandinavians the Radio Dept., the Sound of Arrows, and Firefox AK. Yiva Lindberg and Niklas Gustafsson formed Friday Bridge in 2004, naming the project after a small village in Cambridgeshire, England. Their first EP, a cassette-only release titled The Lady Julie, was released on Best Kept Secret that same year; another EP, Friday Bridge 2, came out on Bedroom in the fall of 2005.
