Frode Haltli

The music of prolific Norwegian accordionist, composer, and improviser Frode Haltli exists in an ever-evolving autonomous zone hovering between 21st century jazz, contemporary classical, and traditional folk musics. He won Norway's Spellemannprisen for his 2002 ECM debut, Looking on Darkness, and has appeared on more than 100 releases since.
