Gelli Haha

Whimsical is the word for the kitchy, space-age alternative dance music of Los Angeles' Gelli Haha. Recorded in collaboration with De Lux's Sean Guerin, the persona's debut album, Switcheroo, materialized in 2025. Raised in Boise, Idaho, the artist known as Gelli Haha (Angel Abaya) played in a number of bands as a teen and young adult in addition to being involved with a dance company, where she played in the band and eventually worked her way up the administrative ladder to program director.
