George Vosburgh

The longtime principal trumpeter of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, George Vosburgh is also active as an educator and music publisher. Since his retirement from the orchestra, Vosburgh has been on the faculty at Pittsburgh's Carnegie Mellon University. Vosburgh was born on September 24, 1957, and is a native of Woodmere, New York, on Long Island.
